In conjunction with the International Year of Lama Tsongkhapa 2019, which commemorates the 600th year of the Je Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Geluk Tibetan Buddhist tradition, there will be a two-day event, featuring an exhibition of the life and works of Je Tsongkhapa, as well as teachings based upon one of Je Tsongkhapa’s seminal text, “In Praise of Dependent Arising”, by the current supreme Head of the Geluk Tradition, His Holiness, the 104th Ganden Tripa, Lobsang Tenzin Rinpoche.
This event is co-organized by the Geluk International Foundation, based in India and the Vajrayana Buddhist Council of Malaysia together with 14 Geluk organizations based in Malaysia:
